The best is women’s golf team, who won 6 championships in (1999, 2002, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2014), the men's basketball team won 4 ((1991, 1992, 2001, and 2010), the men’s lacrosse team won 3 and women's tennis and men's soccer won per one championship. Duke University won 126 ACC Championships, in men’s golf, lacrosse, football and volleyball. Since 2000 they have won 52 league crowns! They are known for winning at least one ACC championship per year, since 1980, and at least two per season from 1991. The biggest rival is the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Their matches are expected every year, especially in basketball.
